Fullscript was among Kanata tech park companies celebrating after being named to the Best Ottawa Business Awards winners list – an annual awards program honouring the most successful, innovative and socially conscious companies and business leaders driving economic growth and prosperity in the region.
It was a big night for the online platform, which connects more than 70,000 health care practitioners with their more than five million patients, allowing them to send virtual treatment plans, dispense supplements, and improve health literacy.
As well as winning the Kanata North Team of the year, Deals of the Year in the tech space, Fullscript’s CEO Kyle Braatz won CEO of the year.
Other notable winners at the BOBs included Fellow.app, a meeting-management software company that won in the best performance: marketing category.
Business and technology consultant firm GenesisLink was a winner in the Best New Business category.
Voted #NextBigThing was Trellis, an eCommerce advertising software and powerful analytics scale revenue growth for leading brands on Amazon, Google Shopping, and Walmart.
Taking home the Serious Tech Lives Here award was Syntronic, a global partner in the development of supporting systems for self-driving cars as well as development of active safety onboard solutions.
Kanata’s Calian, a diverse products and services company that provides innovative healthcare, communications, learning and cybersecurity solutions, took home one of three Best Businesses awards. Other winners in the category included Ross Video, which has a production studio in Hub 350, and Stoneworks Technologies.
