For this month’s event, we will navigate how to do business with all levels of Government from procurement processes, programs, and initiatives to leveraging resources to foster successful partnerships with the public sector.
Laurent Carbonneau, Director, Policy and Research at the Council of Canadian Innovators (CCI), will set the scene and provide a short presentation on their latest report titled Procuring Public Sector Innovation in Canada. CCI is calling 2024 the “Year of Procurement”, believing “the time is now to get serious about procurement reform, especially when it comes to technology services.”
Moderated by Veronica Farmer, VP of Marketing at Wesley Clover International, the presentation will be followed by a panel discussion featuring:
- Clinton Lawrence-Whyte, Director General, Procurement Assistance Canada Public Services and Procurement Canada / Government of Canada
- Todd McCleave, Supply Chain Project Lead, Supply Ontario
- Will McDonald, Chief Procurement Officer, City of Ottawa
- Nancy White, VP of Sales, Calian Health
