CREATE TRAVERSAL Workshop & Hackathon 2024
June 20 - June 22
This 3-day event aims to bridge the gap between industry and academia, fostering collaboration to explore advancements in autonomous systems. Day 1 will commence with keynote sessions, panel discussions, and an interactive poster session. Days 2 and 3 are dedicated to the hackathon, with a supplementary session focusing on Regulatory, Policy, and Acceptance Dimensions.
The hackathon will center on enhancing object detection and image processing within the driving environment, with a specific emphasis on identifying human behavior inside vehicles. Teams of 3-4 members will utilize cutting-edge tools like Pytorch and Sklearn to compete across various phases, encompassing image processing, dataset extraction, and object detection.
This event is aimed at bringing together thought leaders and innovators in autonomous tech, both from academia and industry. We are thrilled to announce the CREATE TRAVERSAL Workshop, happening from June 20, 2024 at the University of Ottawa, Kanata North.
