Amazing things can happen at Discover Technata – just ask past attendants. Last year, one Kanata employer interviewed more than 300 candidates over the course of the event.
Of course, not all employers will be ‘speed dating’ their next employee at this year’s event on March 28, but one thing’s for sure: this is the event to learn more about – and showcase – the best employment opportunities in Ottawa.
And these aren’t just technical opportunities – there’s no need to know how to code to walk in the door. Employers at Discover Technata are looking for technical and corporate roles: hello human resources, marketing and communications professionals, they need you too!

Here’s how Jamie Petten, executive director of the Kanata North Business Association, describes this event:
“Talent attraction and retention is at the heart of so much of what we do here in Kanata North,” says Petten. “Our community is still looking to recruit top talent, and there is no shortage of jobs available here in Kanata North. Beyond recruiting all-star talent, the Career Fair is also a day about connecting with this incredible community and feeling the magic return to Canada’s Largest Technology Park as businesses and individuals emerge from the challenges we’ve faced over the last three years.
